omg i got peppermint os on my dell laptop, it flies for real, it is a little bit minimal but you have access to dozens of software titles in ubuntu and debian ftp repos. you can also run it on virtual box if you just want to play with it. It only takes 3gb of hard drive space for virtual drive or regular drive so it will not over crowd your hd. i found it at peppermintos.com
