why do people keep asking me to bring them back a tarsier? i'm going to bohol and apparently tarsiers are native to the place tarsiers are the smallest primates in the world and are endangered now i would never take an endangered animal from its habitat because it'll just die i wish people'd stop asking me this silly request i know it's a joke but endangered animals should be taken seriously

hi chipsterkhan yes we really should take endangered animals seriously as they are all part of the balance of nature. we were given this world as a precious gift and yet we all take it sp fprgramted its pathetic and this really should not be so. But relax chip and let the silly jokes just flow over you o kay. No use getting bent out of shape over them as people will be people.

Its meant to be a joke, like when people say that they are going to Australia to bring them back a kangaroo (no offense meant to Aussies, its a Filipino joke). I don't know the origins of this joke, but I know from everyone who will or has gone to Bohol that they never escape this pun made on tarsiers. They're already endangered by the way because of the tourists, they can no longer live in their normal habitat. A lot of people really don't mind even if you tell them until you're blue in the face that a lot of our wildlife are vanishing. They simply don't care because for them they're not really affected by it. But I do hope you enjoy your stay in Bohol. Take care! Happy Trip!
