pack light or bring everything and the kitchen sink?

I prefer to pack as lightly as possible than carry way too heavy luggage. For my last trip I had to carry luggage for myself, my toddler son and my baby daughter. I had to bring along a lightweight pop up travel cot. My son needed three boxes of catheters. I took a limited amount of clothes and a washing liquid for them. It was lovely to visit Vancouver and Vancouver Island. I hope that you had a wonderful time on Bohol Island. I have always wished to go there. Did you see the Chocolate Hills?

i pack light. for i dont like to carry big bulgy bags, and if ever i need something i will just have to buy it when i reach my destination. but when my wife gave birth it was a different story. from then on i made sure that i bring things that my son needed in case he gets bored in the middle of the travel. i even bring our portable dvd player fully charged so i can run a dvd he loves to watch in case he gets bored. now my relatives calls boyscout. har har har

I try to pack light because if I bring too much stuff with me, then I will have to carry a lot of things with me, and I don't like doing that. My aunt is the same way, every time she travels, she will buy stuff here where I live, and then when she goes back, she leaves a lot of it with me, and that's it. Sadly, when I was going to NYC, I had to take a lot of things with me because of the fact that I was staying in a hotel, but truth be told, I hate bringing a lot of stuff with me on a trip.
