the new kurt angle. just an observation. i mean look and listen to what this guy and what wwe creative are doing... 'the all american american', the get-up, his mic skills, and even his ankle lock. he is even having an amateur wrestling challenge.
'sigh'
don't get me wrong, i like jack swagger, his intro music , if i'm not mistaken, is by rage against the machine and i love rage against the machine so that's a plus for swagger. just really like jack swagger as a heel. he's the type that can be a face but still a hated one at that. he should be matching u p against some of the big names in wwe today... cena, edge, orton, sheamus, jericho, and even against the undertaker. i think jack swagger can be the new 'face' of wwe, albeit a not os popular one. he won't move merchandise like cena or mysterio but swagger has in-ring skills and the mic skills to be an important part of wwe in the years to come.
want to hear about everyone's thoughts about this one.

For Jack Swagger's sake, I really hope that he's not the next Kurt Angle. Kurt's been pretty banged up over the years. I don't know how much he really has left in the tank. Still, I can see why Swagger could get those comparisons. In fact, I think its intention on the part of WWE. With the gear, the gimmick, and of course, the ankle lock, its very hard not to see the perils for him. Still, I think WWE wants to prove that they made Angle a star and they can prove that they can make a new star in Swagger.
Still, hopefully Swagger will be able to remain a main event star for a number of years. There is a list of guys who had their fifteen minutes in the sun, before getting knocked down into the midcard. So maybe he won't be the next Angle or Lesnar or anyone like that, but hopefully he'll be a bit better off than Shelton Benjamin.

I am not sure if i like jack swagger. He might be making a good name for himself but he's no Kurt angle if you ask me. Kurt Angle is an Olympic gold medalist and one of the greatest wrestler in the world. Jack swagger might be following in his footsteps but he can be never be Kurt. The best thing is that at least he is himself only.
