Here Is The Finished Product!

Finally!! After coaxing the woman to hurry and get it framed so I could take it to my dad so he could enjoy it while he's still with me, I got it this morning and took it to my dad. He was just so awwwed and ohhhhed over it and said it was just gorgeous and that he really appreciated my doing it for him. "Well, I love you dad!" 
He said, "Gosh, this sure does bring back a lot of good memories!" Now you haven't a clue how good that is for me to hear because dad had it REALLY rough growing up. I mean, REALLY rough! So for him to have something that brings back GOOD memories for him, makes me all the more better!!
Now the glass in the picture kept reflecting so the best shot was from the side and at the moment, mom was holding it. You can see from the one side how the frame that I picked out is made. It has like cutting groves all around it which really makes it ruggish like.... country western of the old days. It really turned out to be right pretty!!
I have more to tell you and will in my next discussion!......
So what do you think of my cross stitch all framed and now is hung on their wall?!

It turned out absolutely beautiful! I thought it looked great even without the frame, and no with it...stunning! I know your dad really appreciates it. It is great that you will able to have him remember a good memory of his childhood. All those long hours you put in were well worth it, to provide such a great memory for your father.

catsanddogs its so gorgeous and I knew your dad would love it, it sure
came out beautifully and the frame is just perfect. tell your mom she'has very pretty hands. lol. I used to cross stitch eons ago and I do not
really know why I stopped either.It used to be so soothing for me to do as I could not really knit but I did love to crochet. now again I am into writing which I guess I have always been.

Mom would just gawk at you if you told her that! lol She and I both have hands that look alike and they're very veiny looking so we both hate our hands. LOL I'll tell her though. Have you ever thought about picking up cross stitching again? Who knows, you just might like it again. You don't have to finish it in a day, ya know? lol You can do a little at a time like I did with that one that took me about 8 years. It is very enjoyable as you already know so why not give it a try again?

I also have to say that I like the dark blue border, I think it goes well with the picture frame itself. Very nice finished product and I am excited for you that your dad enjoyed it and that it brought back fond memories for him.

I am glad he is happy about it and that he's shown a little emotion. My dad is the type of "manly" person I think too..
Hubby's not, which is why I love him.

The framed picture is really lovely. I am glad you have it up on the wall and framed. Now every time they see it they can think of you and remember how much you care for them. Stitch by stitch.

I think it’s even more beautiful now that it’s framed! I am sure it is very special for your Dad especially because you put so much work into it. It is a unique piece and very, very special. I really like the frame you chose and I love the blue background; it makes the cross stitching stand our beautifully!

I am pretty sure your father will love your gift. He will definitely appreciate the time and effort you have put into this gift of yours. Wrap it up nicely and write a really nice letter or attache a nice card with it. I hope your father wont end up crying because of happiness.
