Ok, so what's good with the profiles?

After a very long hiatus I decide to return today and be an active member once again. I go to edit my profile to reflect the things I've learned on this long journey, and I find that I can attach no HTML whatsoever in the sortie. I've tried both in IE and in FF. This is an up to date computer and OS, so I don't think the problem is on my end.
But if anyone knows, how can I edit my profile and have it stick???

I wish I could help you out.
I tried to add html to my profile (just a sentence) and didn't even know where to look to find what I added.
Good luck with resolving this issue.
And, happy MyLoting to you, in future~

When you add a new HTML sortie to your profile it will appear at the bottom.
You can then move it to where you want it to be.

Actually, I'm not even looking to make a GOOD profile. I just want the HTML to work. Diana did come with some solutions, but unfortunately none actually worked for me. If you find out any way to make the HTML sortie work right, please let me know!

that feature can sometimes be a pain
I have to try it 3 times for it to save
about things I learned from my journey
I keep them in diaries
I have been writing diaries for 20 years I think
I only share them with very few people

The instructions are here:

If it still doesn't work then type a dot immediately before the first HTML code in each sortie. that usually does the trick but I have no idea why.

Well, tried this method, and the initial period added, several times in both FF and IE, still nothing. Thanks for your help Diana, but I think we need a new backdoor.
