If your going on a 2 weeks vacation and you can only bring 1 bag. How will you do it? Lol. If I'm going swimming for a day, I've already filled up the whole bag, what more if it's a 2 weeks vacation. Help... How you guys do it? One thing I've learned is you got to roll your clothes instead of folding them. Got any other? Thanks!

Hello
I travel frequently in connection with my seminar and workshops that i attend, it may be for 2 days to a week, depending upon distance, because the train journey may consume 48 hours one way..
I have a suit case with wheels, my wife keeps ready one, just 2 pair of pants, shirts, undergarments, towel, shaving set and my laptop is always there..
Thanks for sharing.
Welcome always, cheers.

Hi Professor! Mmm suit case with wheels are much bigger than backpacks, I'm gonna check it out. My problem is I have too many toiletries, haha... I'd probably need to buy in small packs. Thanks for sharing.

When I flew from London to Riga in Latvia on a budget airline I was only allowed to take one bag weighing less than 15kg. That was for me and my son who was aged 20 months old at that time. I found the packing quite challenging. I limited how many clothes I was going to take. I folded my clothing that I was going to take. I took a lightweight towel.
When going to the beach it is wise to take one swimming costume. I suggest taking three pairs of underwear, three pairs of socks, two t-shirts, two pairs of shorts, one pair of trousers, one long sleeved top and a pair of sandals. You could wear your shoes on your journey there and back. You could take some travel wash and a lightweight washing line. I have an elastic washing line so no pegs are needed.
Good luck with your packing and have a wonderful time.

I will plan to use a laundromat or the washer and dryer that are in the hotel while I am there because that means that I only have to pack half as many things as I would have packed otherwise. In addition to that, I typically wear my jeans and such more than once before I wash them so I would only have to take about three extra pairs of pants with me. I fold my things, but I fold them well and I'm able to get more into my bag.

Hi,
You can bring a bigger bag. lol.
I guess you can bring some "multi-purpose" clothing, and if you have access to laundry service, you can make full use of that and bring less clothes. However, your photos wouldn't look so nice with so much repeats.
For me, I always try to travel light, I don't mind wearing the same piece of clothing for 1-2 days, so for 14 days vacation, maybe 8 tops would be enough of me. If I can wash clothes, it might even be lesser, heehee.
It depends on where you are going and for what purpose. If you are going to the beach, it might be good to bring along sarongs, they are small and light and you can vary how you wear them.

Hmmmm, how about wearing a number of shirts all at once. In this way you save space in your luggage and the shirts on your body will warm you while you're inside the plane (wink). Kidding aside, rolling one's clothes is so far the best way of packing one's clothes. One reason why I don't enjoy going on a travel is the packing up of clothes into the luggage. It's stressful on my part to do this because I wanted to bring the whole wardrobe with me in just one traveling bag. :(
