Did you know: A rabbit is not able to vomit. Do you know of any other odd animal facts?

Elephants are the only non-primates that have a pair of nipples located between their "arms" rather than a row of nipples down each side. Tropical fish can live in a tank filled with blood. Calico cats are always female. Horseshoe crabs have blue blood.

ACtually I have been gathering a few of these things myself, planning to start a similar discussion, but will just add them here instead. LOL Monkeys create their own eating untensils out of leaves and branches. Sharks can grow new sets of teeth. Mainly because they are chomp on items they think are food so the teeth sometimes fall out. An albatross can fly all day without flapping its wings once. Bats always fly left when they leave there cave. The numbat eats 10,000 termites a day. It has 52 teeth, all of which are unique in size and shape.

when cats/kittens "knead dough" on you with their paws, its because when they were babies they would do that do their mom to try to get more milk out when feeding :)
