as a matter of practise i do not keep unwanted ,excess or old items ,we sell off ,it requires enough space and upkeeping ,we keep only daily used items in my house ,what aboy u?

From time to time, I clear off the junk stuff in the house too. I would sort them and see which items are suitable for what. Some of the items which are still useable to some extent, I would donate them to organizations which accept the items. Those which are of no use at all any more, I would take them to the dump yards and dump them off.

That is what my mom exactly don't want. She always told me never bring junk to her house, and never keep any unused items in the house. It just too much to handle and arrange. I should beware of that.
