Why do bearded ladies have beards? Are they actually men, or do they have high testie levels? And why do they always work at the circus?

The truth is that if a woman shaves any area..it will become thicker if it is allowed to grow out. I do think that there are cases in which a woman's hormone levels might cause them to grow different amounts of hair. It may also be a gene that is passed.

LOL You are so funny! Seriously though some of it is genetic. Also It can be from shaving. Im not joking. I have a friend who literally has a five o clock shadow BECAUSE she stupidly took a razor and shaved a few unwanted hairs. Now she literally has to lather up and shave everyday. Its awful. Ive told her hundreds of times. She just doesnt listen. Plus she's lazy. Because of this she now has to do it everyday. It literally looks like a 5 oclock shadow. As far as to why they work at circus, that's because in past centuries that was an oddity. People would come from miles to see a woman with a beard. Also there are people that have their entire bodies covered with hair. This is genetically passed down. In the old days people didnt have DNA or genetics. This was odd to them. Anything unknown was scary. Some women do have high testosterone levels. This is one of the many reasons for them to have excessive hair. Hope this helps Happy MyLotting dl
