rivatuner..does it help speed up games?..safe?..

my little brother want to play prototype on our pc..but the specs aren't quite enough for that game so it lags pretty often..1.9 ghz, 1gb ram, 512mb video card..will rivatuner help with this kind of concern?..and is it safe to overclock?..

Two questions:
Has he tried to run the game on it's lowest settings?
Do you know what you're doing when you're overclocking?
If the answer is yes to both, then you might want to give rivatuner a go. Personally I use MSI afterburner, but that's mainly because I have a MSI based motherboard, so it works better for me. Good luck!
