I first heard of Dane Oliva last Friday when my husband printed a forwarded email and had me read it. At first, I couldn't believe, but it is true. Then last Sunday at a local show "Wish Ko Lang" her story was featured. www.youtube.com/?v=uRimH43zcr4
Dane was once a very beautiful lady until she had a chronic kidney disease which led to the deformation of her bones. I admire her courage in facing this battle. I admire her husband and her family for standing by her. Not giving up, not losing hope. I only have prayers for her since I do not have any financial help I could give and I want to share her inspiring story to you all. http://savegeraldine.tumblr.com

It's a depressing as well as an uplifting story.
She used to be a beautiful lady. Now as her illness progressed, it also deformed her body and face.
I admire her courage, and her husband's loyalty and dedication to her. I am also proud of her children and that they give her unconditional love and support and indeed their family will become stronger inspite of all their travails.
