What ways have you changed your activities since you started on Mylot?

I always waited for someone to ask me to be their friend. I accepted everyone. Now I'm asking people who answer some of my posts and I see that the discussions they start are interesting to be my friends. I'm not accepting requests because it seems like most of the requests are people who are just trying to scam me or get some kind of referral money. I never used to ask people, fear of rejection I guess. I'm starting posts as I think of them. I used to start them at about the same time every day. With menopause comes poor memory. I'm trying new discussion types and new categories. I'm on a pseudo-upbeat mission to help others and myself now.

After having been here since like july I can see that I am posting less and reading more. At first my priority was making money, now not so much because I realised it was slow earning and I was started to have fun. Also I now use my mobile phone to post. It's so much more convenient!

Yes I have also felt that there are some changes in my thinking and writing skills after joining mylot. Now I am a one year old member of this great site. I join this site under one of mine friend. So in this one year I have doing much activity on this site. And I also feel some changes in myself. And the biggest changes in me is my thinking and writing skills are improves now. Because when I was not a member of this sites. Then I was not able to gives my views on any topics. But I think mylot improves my thinking skills. And now I am able to give my suggestion on any topics. So thank you very much mylot.

I know my thinking had improved because I can answer more quickly. I know my typing has improved because I'm typing faster. Thanks for your response and take care.

I accept everyone which totally throws my incoming mail into hysterics. The email notifications run between 300 and 400 all the time so there is no way I can answer everyone. I try hard but it never happens. I have recently accepted a few new members as friends only to find out they were promoting their businesses and trying to get referrals. Sure it irritates me but eventually they leave myLot and never bother me again. Or, myLot administration sees what's happening and bans them. This is stictly my opinion. I understand about rejection. I detest it as well.

I haven't checked the amount of friends I have on here lately. Many are not active and I really think hanging out on Facebook. I'd rather be here!

I have 149 friends and not that many of them respond or make discussions. 20 in my email is a lot.

I had noticed you were on a whole lot more, but I figured it was because you had a new computer and no work right now. I find that I am more balanced about things, and I post longer responses. When I first started I misunderstood about commenting on responses, I thought you were not supposed to do it. I know better now. I am more balanced in that I am not so obsessive about being here as when I first started. I still accept almost everyone as friends. I do occasionally ask interesting people to become my friends.

I used to get upset if I asked a question and the person didn't respond. Now I don't worry about it. Heck with my menopause, half the time, I can't even remember that I asked a question. Now I respond and post to so many that if they answer great, if they don't, oh well. Yeah my not working and not being on for a while and getting a new computer all contribute to it, thanks and take care.

I do accept some people as friends when they request, but I seldom accept people with low numbers unless vouched for by another friend (today I denied 3 people who had numbers below 200 in part because their numbers hadn't changed in DAYS)

Yes, I have about 20 to 40 people that I accepted with low munbers and they don't seem to be doing anything. I have to keep culling my friends list when I take them. But I do want to give newbies a chance if they at least answer some of my posts, Decisions, decisions.

I get a friend request atleast one a day. I don't usually hve to request them. If they are just starting out I usually don't accept them. I have had so many scammers I just don't care to accept alot of them. I also start discussions as I think of a subject. Or I write them on a notepad (online)that I keep. I go back and forth between Mylot(my response and discussions on my Yahoo)and several other sites I use online.

Yes, way to many scammers. I think more rules need to be placed in the beginning and the people joining should have to accept or reject them. If reject, can't join.

I agree. That might just help.
