On this video clip by Vanguard, my favorite documentary series by Current, Adam Yamaguchi, the corresponder gets a ride on a boat over a river in Delhi which is emitting gas bubbles as you can see when you watch the clip. My suggestion is that maybe the gas bubbles which is probably methane be harvested as fuel for a power plant for electricity so they can make use of the river somehow. And since people defecate into this river, throw garbage and stuff in it I think they may scoop out the solid matters for fertilizers. It's just my idea and maybe someone can use it.
