what do you do when the internet is caped?

I have always capped my internet every single month because i don't wanna pay more money. Very interested to see what people actually do when you cap your internet and get reduced to dial up speed. I personally just download a lot, it beats speading money to download. It may be a lot slower but downloading a 1.5gb file only takes about 82 hours to download. SWEET! So...... the question is what do you do with capped internet speed or do you prefer to pay the extra for that broadband speed?
