Charice Pempengco is a great all around performer.. She can sing very well act, dance, articulate.. wow.. She is now a world wonder.. a top world class caliber performer.. a world sensation.. and she is still young.. i cannot imagine how great and good she will be 3- 5 years from now.. All filipinos are really proud of her..
I am just wondering if there was a mistake in the final verdict of the board of judges of a competition sponsored by a famous philippine tv station where she joined several years ago.. She was not declared the winner of that competition but look at her now.. She is very good now.. Don't you think she was not that good at that time. If She can be compared with the likes of Celine Dion, Mariah Carey and other world famous performers and can even have a single of her own that is making it in the top ten chart of the us bill board.. How come she did not win in that competition.. I am just wondering now how tv competitions run them, the kind of judges that they have..
It also reminds me of how these judges handle their positions in some other competitions... They just show their voluptuous body on camera and say things which are not even connected with the show..

I agree she is indeed a great performer and my tribute to her are written here http://www.bukisa.com/articles/360000_charice-pempengco-her-life-her-glee-debut-her-success
I think Charice has reached the best she could ever be. A plain looking gal gifted with a strong vocal chord is now idolized by international audiences.
Now, I believe that losing in a singing competition does not mean the end of everything. Many losers turned out to be more successful than those who won over them. The judges are not perfect, their decision is not always the best and Charice proved those judges were wrong in their decision to give the trophy to the other contender. But there is no reason for Charice to sourgrape. She got more than she wanted. She is now the biggest star from among the contenders and actually she is the most popular Filipino star today.

she was also my bet that time and wondered why she didn't win. maybe those times, the judges and the rest of the people who were there knew them and their characters and/or talents more than us. also, it's possible that she was even more developed afterward. but i've been a fan of charice ever since.

Not all winners of those competition make it great in the real world..
Notice how Adam Lambert is more popular than the Kris Allen?
