What will you do if......

you're trapped in a shopping centre, with all the doors closed and when you shout till your voice goes hoarse, nobody responds. Will you just walk around the building or just sleep in one corner until the next day? Hmm...I'm curious to know :)

I think I would go exploring since it would be boring just to sleep.

Hmm window shopping is very boring, especially, with all the lights off!

Don't they have security guards when they close the mall? I'd probably try my luck on finding one so that I can get home and get comfortable on my own bed to sleep. Anyway, if ever the situation doesn't really provide that kind of option, I would probably just find a bench, hopefully there is one in the shopping centre, and sleep there. Most stores are indeed close so, you can't do anything about it.

LOL if you sleep in the mall and the next day you'll find many people surrounding you!!! I guess that would really be embarrassing. I think I will just find a quiet corner and sleep. Maybe if I have my handphone with me, I'll set my alarm.

hi judgeironfist first all malls have security of some type so p robably the person will trigger a silent alarm aNd the nearest police will comeand you will be let out. again others have security guards who patrol and again you would be found, in our library a mom and her adult son got lockedin as they did not answer our calling anyone in the bathroom so they triggered the burglar alarm when they came out of the restrooms. then the fire alarm went off. p;olice and fire people came but could not get in no key so= the couple had a cell phone,t hey called the branch manager who had to drive twenty miles to get the library open and the two alarms turned off. I can imagine those two were careful from then on to check the time and leave before the libray was loc ked up.

That sounds like a difficult situation to be in and I don't know how I would handle a situation like that! Hopefully I never end up in a situation like that but I have a vague idea about how I would respond and what I would do. I definitely would not cause any kind of damage to the shopping centre in trying to escape, I think this would be wrong! It's only twelve hours so I'm pretty sure that I could stomach one night on the cold floor or perhaps some kind of elevated surface! It suddenly becomes a little more serious if I starting to feel hungry and I needed some food. Would I go through some of the rubbish bins in order to find something half decent? I don't think so! I would probably go on a fast and just wait until the following morning to get out of there and grab some breakfast. I'm even wondering whether there would be some kind off cctv cameras available that would spot you and subsequently inform the local police or something, some places are not that modern!! Well, it would be an interesting experience no doubt and it would also be a learning experience. Andrew

hmm..First, I would try to find a phone and call my family or look for security, then I would walk around first or sleep until some help comes. It's a bit suspicious though if someone finds you walking around in a shopping centre, they might bring you straight away to the cops.

There may be cameras showing the footage of you calling for help so maybe they will take that into account :)

I might try to set the alarm off. There is usually a fire escape door that will sound if you use it. I would probably go out that door. DOn't know if I would wait for the police or not though! lol!

Hiya judge, Okay if I have no other way of getting out no mobile phone no laptop no nothing. I would feel a bit desperate at first. But then I would try to make the most of it by exploring the place all I can and then sit down and rest and wait to see if anyone comes to open a Door somewhere. See maybe a Cleaning Lady has to come in and then I can get out.
