I am thinking of buying my daughter a Kindle or E reader of some sort for Christmas. Does anyone k now if it is possible to download free books at all from the web or do they all need to be bought?

Now that I have finally eaten, there is a non food discussion...just teasing you!!! Yes, you can download free books from ereader.com I am not sure about Kindle - maybe they would work on there as well. I have been wanting to buy one of those, but I was wondering if you would be able to use them outside. I don't know if the glare would be too strong out in the sun.

LOL...yes, I guess sun isn't going to be a problem for her. I too have many books, my husband says the house is starting to look like a library. I do turn in my books at the used bookstore, but I still manage to accumulate far more than what I return back. Have a great day.
