Love versus Like

How would you know if what you're feeling for the other person is love and not just like? How would you know if you have feelings for them? I get kind of confused a lot. This year, I've been in and out of a relationship twice. I just can't figure out whether or not I do love or like the person, which is annoying and confusing at the same time. Enlighten me please?

this is very hard and simple at the same time what i have learned is you love someone when it hurts the most and i don't mean when they hurt you i mean when things go wrong in you life that person that comes to mind is who you love. like when every you get hurt and think you will be in the hosptal who do you think of first, think back to thoses times and see if you find your self think of someone or wishing they were there. that's how i figuered out i loved the first person i did and also if you talk to them in your mind a lot about things that don't matter

is that how it is? but when I am hurt, there are two people who cross my mind. it's confusing, really.

the first one for me its always the same person but sometimes others after her but it's the one that's first

I've experienced that, but isn't it a little too late to find out? Or could we even figure it out ahead of time?
