drogba is nightmare for arsenal

I think Drogba is a danger for every opponent, not only for Arsenal. I am not aware of how many goals he has scored against them, but if he is called a nightmare, then it means that he scored many times. But he is hard to mark, he is one of the best strikers in the world. He is quick, he is strong, he has great skills and a deadly finish. What else can we ask from a striker? It is not a surprise that he scores so many goals, and he is able to score against any team.

On his day he is a great player, but i guess arsenal are the team for him, the more you put past a team the more "scared" a team is as they know what you have done in the past to them and are capable of.

Drogba has really been like that. He says that he loved to watch Arsenal play as a child and hence his best performances come against them. Anyway you look at it his record against Arsene Wenger's boys is phenomenal. I think the direct physical game that he brings is just a bit too much for Arsene's defenders. Cheers! Ram

Arsenal just can't stop the long run of Chelsea.. Though i'm not a fan of Chelsea neither Drogba, but the play yesterday was really interesting and the scoring techniques were excellent.. Arsenal is not a match for the strikers of Chelsea !! Let's see the Drogba's Action against the Manchester United !!!! He cannot run over the defense of Manchester United !!!!!

i agree with you...droba is like monster..but when meet arsenal he likes got another spirit to score it.. i dont know why...maybe you could explain it to me

if a almost fluke goal like that, i don't know how can arsenal defender can stop him. The centre back are doing the best by not allowed him free and tearing the defense apart. for drogba goal, squillaci cover him well. If drogba opted to turn and shot, he wouldn't have score. But the flick caught squillaci and fabianski on surprise and how on earth that ball can come in to the goal. just bad luck.

To be fair he is a nightmare for most teams, the fact that he would be geared up to face Arsenal is probably the reason why he has the habit of scoring against them. It's like teams who have the habit of walking over others which much higher standard than themselves, is Drogba superman? I don't think so. Can the guy be stopped? of course. It's down to teams to cancel him out though, which isn't as hard as it sounds as he gets frustrated very easily.
