can anyone tell me what's the objective of the both subjects? I think they're similar, but there's a friend of mine says that Six Sigma is better that Total Quality Management, then my professor stated that Total Quality Management is better that Six Sigma. I am at the center of confusion right now :(

I agree that both have something in common. Six sigma is a process whose objective is to reduce errors or failures. It is usually applied in the manufacturing industry. Right now, there are companies that apply six sigma in a service kind of business.

I have also read about six sigma in management information system. I think it is total quality managements. And all managements are depended on six sigma. But I don’t know clear all sis sigma. I think management use it's much and also many things which are really important in a management.
