Lena Katina Moving Up?

Just from getting back from school today, I found out that there was a new song with Lena Katina in it. A rock band named Abandon All Ships released their new album "Geeving" today and one of their songs called "Guardian Angel" features Lena Katina. This is something so different that Lena have done and surprises me. She hasn't sang in a metal song before I must say. Do you think Lena Katina is going in the right direction with her solo career by being featured in another band's song?
