Maroon 5's weakening ??

I've just listening to maroon 5's newest song (misery, if I'm not mistaken) and it's getting more and more boring every new songs. I admit their first songs were really great and that makes me great fan of them, but now, I still prefer thair old songs ('makes me wonder', 'this love', and especially 'she will be loved')
what do u guys think about them now??

This is actually very common. Many bands I listen to have slowly softened and changed. In many cases, for the worse. I do not really like Maroon 5 but coincidentally, I have only heard their newer stuff. I listen to rock/metal/alternative mostly but I also like a little of everything else, which I think lends me some credibility considering many of my bands start out screaming and thrashing and slowly change into soul/ bluesy type stuff.

Do they really did that?? that's so not cool. I mean, the fans will probably leave them. Many of my country's bands do that too. I don't know what's gotten into them because their old albums are still great and they leave all of it just to change the genre of the band. Who knows they'll be more famous than before

I don't know what's wrong with them either. It seems they're approaching some kind of a new genre. Like alternative disco or something. I don't like their new album too. It sucks if you ask me.

I agree. I hope the next album will be better. They don't want to dissapoint the fans, do they?? by the way, which one you think is better, 'she will be loved' or 'makes me wonder' ??
I used to like 'makes me wonder', but the other song is really beautiful, you know.

Maroon 5 is one of the bands that I prefer to listen. I haven't listened to their new album yet but I hope it lives up to my expectation. Btw, I love their first album especially She Will Be Loved.

'She Will Be Loved' reminds me of my former girl. oh how I miss her. The song is sad but they (maroon 5) really are showing my weak side. hehehe.
The first album was quite a bomb. and that makes me a big fan of them.
