The Film4 Channel in the UK is running all 10 Trek Movies next weekend..while looking forward to seeing some of them again,in the meantime I'm Loving the themed "Trailers" they're running to promote the Marathon..there's A group of people standing in an office lobby with 2 lifts side by side..then you hear the famous turbolift door sound fx,the doors open, and a Green girl walks out of one of them..Another one is a cafeteria scene, people eating lunch,a guy walks in with his tray and is about to sit down..next thing the "Red Alert" siren goes off,and everybody's throwing themselves around during "evasive manoeuvres".. So,..If You haven't yet seen these ads or are unable to get this channel, Have you a favourite Trek Movie in the series,or which "Generation" do You prefer? and why?

I am very much an old school Trek fan and so my favourite is the original movie. I've seen the trailers and they are really clever and although many moons ago I did a Star Trek Movie Marathon of the original 6 movies I'm so looking forward to next weekend and watching all 10 movies which they are showing.

You're going to be able to sit there for the whole lot?! that has to be a bum numbing prospect..I remember when the LOTR movie series was completed with "Return of the King",I heard some Cinemas were airing all of them back to back..it could have been even longer...I don't even think it was the extended special editions they were showing!

well, I haven't seen all of them at once, but I think the Wrath of Khan is my favorite movie. I have to say I rather liked the new movie.

Can you think of any other TOS stories that'd be worth their own spinoff Movie,or have they dug deep enough in the barrel by now,and leave it to the reboots to start over?

Don't get that channel so I haven't seen any great trailers like that. Sounds funny though! I don't know if I would call myself a Star Trek fan. My parents grew up on the original series, and they both absolutely love Star Trek. So I've seen lots of episodes from the original series, and a few of the movies. I really enjoyed the recent one, but I also really love "The Voyage Home". I think it's the fourth original movie. That's one of my parent's favorites too.

I'd say if you've enjoyed episodes and movies (the movies can divide even diehard fans!) You can call yourself a fan!

I guess so! I've never really thought of myself as a fan before because while I like the episodes and movies... I don't absolutely LOVE them. I think I'd say I'm just a casual fan.
