My favorite grandson participated in punt , pass & kick a few sundays ago. fOR THOSE WHO ARE NOT FAMALIAR W/IT , IT IS A FOOTBALL THING. H e came in 2nd in his age group & of course we were all very proud of him. Shoot, i'm proud of him if he's not doing anything but sitting in a chair.
. anyway his picture came out in the paper & that thrilled him. He ask hin mom if he was famous now that his picture was in the paper, lol.I think he is, don't y'all??

That is wonderful. You all must be so proud of him.Of course he is famous. You DIL should ask the newspaper if she could purchase the original picture from them so it can be framed.
These sort of events make kids very proud and helps their self esteem.

grandson stories"!lol Of course he's famous! I'll bet his
grandma was proud as a peacock too! I wish I could have seen
his little face on that newspaper. How is his mom doing? Does
he talk about "the little one on the way"?

Hi OPal, thanks for responding, nice to hear from u. U are right i was very proud of him as i am every day. I am so blessed to have that little boy. His mom is having a rough time w/the baby. She did the same way carrying ryan. He doesn't talk about the baby much. I have bought him a minature pumpkin at the farmer's market & i bought a little bitty one for the baby. That seemed to please him.

yES, I'M GOING TO BE A BOBO AGAIN. wE are all excited but very sorry kim is having such a hard time. She is not far along enough yet for us to find out what it's going to be. IO can't wait for that. Ryan wants a boy of course. I really don't care as long as it's healthy but i am partial to little boys, lol.

Of course, he was famous in his granny's eyes the day he was born. However, how much that extends depends the size of the town where the paper was published. Hope you saved the article and picture for his scrapbook.

Hi Bellis, thanks for responding. Of course i saved the picture. It's on my fridge. His mom want let him put things on her new fridge so he's got mine covered up, lol. He told me his mom thought it was againist the law to put things on hers, lol.

yes i think he is. if for elsewhere, for sure he is here. we all love him on mylot. 
you keep praising his accomplishments and i'll bet he will be a very famous ball player some day. thats all a kid usually needs is our support and pride to make it in these times.

Of course! You have always got a reason to be proud but this gives you even more creason! Second in his age group is a pretty great achievement! I think he is famous now for sure, not many people get their faces in the newspaper…

Good morning Jo. Of course your grandson is famous. When my son's were growing up we lived in a very small town so the town newspaper didn't have much to write about a lot of times. My oldest son (who was in school at the time) was in the paper quite a lot....and he used to think he was famous too. Outta the mouths of babes!!! Did the famous grandson get a special treat for his accomplishment? I am sure grandma Jo spoiled him with something!! Have a super day.
