If You Geocache....

I've been a big fan of geocaching since I first found out about it back in 2008. Although, despite my enjoyment of it, I actually have found very few caches relative to how long I've had my account on their website. But anyway, Sunday was 10/10/10. In honor of their ten years since the very first cache was placed near Portland, Oregon, the "officials" decided to try doing something in honor of it that day. Basically they wanted people to log at least one cache that day. The purpose behind it was that they wanted to set a new world record that day for most accounts logged. The previous record was placed back in April. And it turns out that people managed to make the attempt successful. The last I read the record was beaten by at least 15,000 and still counting. I haven't checked to see where the current number is. I found and logged two caches that day (though from what I read, just logging one is the important part) to help out. I was just curious. If you're a cacher, did you take part in 10/10/10 and get your souvenir?

I have been geocaching since October 2014. Finding the cache and then logging it is the way to go. Recently some cheats have been logging hundreds of caches without actually finding them.
