Have you heard of the song FAITHFULLY by the Journey? I came to know about this song because my husband told me 4 years ago (I was pregnant with our first born then, we were at the internet cafe and he showed me his blog and this song)that this song is for me...
You know, guys, I did not ask him to be faithful to me but hearing the song, I was touched (I almost cried but tried hard not to because I did not want him to see my reaction when he told me about that.)I believed him....I silently thanked God for that very moment for giving him to me...
But, I was wrong... All those time, he was playing me, fooling me...
This song still makes me cry, not because I am thankful to God for giving me a loving husband but because of believing that I have a faithful, loving husband...
Maybe this song is for another woman...

Hi Eureka!
It seems like an irony that he played the song for you, dedicated the song to you on the surface but he had ill-intentions. It really looks very sad that he fooled you, without you causing any harm to him.

I have my shortcomings, too, Deepak...But he should have told me instead of making me believe a lie...I did my best to be deserving of his "love". Now, I know, it wasn't good enough... I was never good enough for him...

I agree with you that we all have our shortcomings, but this does not mean that you should under-estimate yourself. I am pretty sure that you would have done your best to be a caring and nice wife. What he did with you was his fault not yours, do not feel guilty.

I do not feel guilty, Deepak. I just feel sad that despite of our struggle to make it through all the odds, he keeps on making things more complicated....
Ifg he was just finding ways to to make our life secure , why at the expense of our relationshiP? At the expense of hurting me and humiliating me?
Don't I deserve even a little respect from him? He had successfully belittled and destroyed me...not just as a wife, a mother of his kids but as a person as well...

It's a nice song, sweetie.
But one thing i won't stand is a song that has to tell me that.
He has to say it himself and mean it.
Or he can go fly a kite or something.
You need to stay focused here, sweetie.
You are dwelling again.
That will only hurt you, okay.
TATA.

Hi, Saphy...
My fault.... Every time I tried to forget, there's just always something I will discover... Why can't he be honest with me? I'm not asking for his faithfulness but at least he should have been honest and not deceived me pretending that he loved me...
I thought he was just busy working... I thought he was thinking of us... I was wrong...I was stupid to believe his words...
I am deeply hurt, Saphy... I couldn't understand why he has the heart to fool me...

Now you listen to me, sweetie.
You are not the stupid one, he is.
He lost something so precious, nothing will ever give that back to him.
He made you believe that as most men do that, unfortunately.
I know you are hurting right now, just don't let this get you down.
You deserve better, sweetie.
He really ain't worth it.

Right now, Saphy, this is too much for me to bear...I wish he never made me believe that he truly loved me... He deprived me of my freedom, my future and of my happiness. He could have not compounded lies with another and spared us both from being miserable....
I am lost... I don't know where to go and whom to turn to to ease the pain...

Hi, Neil.:)
My...this is quite late.
This is really a good song, I must admit and despite of the the sad link it has in my relationship, I still want to listen to it. I don't know , maybe, I was trying to remember how I used to believe in my husband's act towards me so much. He had a youtube video of himself singing the acapella of this song.
I like better the original version of Steve Perry.:)

I've just listened to the song you put there, and yeah, honestly I feel sad. I am sorry to hear about you and your husband. But I believe God has his reasons. We should keep thanking God for everything, even about your husband. Once again, God must have his reasons to do so, only we don't know about it.
Be strong...

What is His reason because I couldn't understand why He is letting me suffer... Sometimes, I'd ask God if He is punishing me for the things I have done wrong...and if He has mercy on me...and if He does, may he put an end to this pains soon... I have to be strong for my daughters, but until when? My mind is telling me to not to give up but my heart is so crushed it can no longer go on....

Yes, I do agree. It is a very touching song. That was why I almost cried when my hubby told me this song was for me...The song is still playing in the air but,the meaning is no longer there....
We can not always get a guarantee that a relationship will last no matter how beautifully we start it.:(

Nice song, I must agree. Too nice that I believed and hoped and prayed that my husband truly feels that way for me... I was wrong...
