When I was child, one of my best hobbies is planting. Planting vegetables and fruits in the garden really helps me to improve my focus. Until now, I still enjoyed this hobby and makes me more relaxed and able me to focus more and more. I don't know what makes me feel this way but I'm sure plants have its secrets behind it. I don't want to know hows and whys but the way I enjoy the feelings doing this is enough for me to continue my hobby.

I love gardening and I think part of it is because it calms me. There is a wonderful feeling of being in contact with Mother Earth that I have since I was very little.
Fot that same reason, against all the advises of everyone, I don´t like to wear gloves while planting. I like the dirt, the soil, the feeling that the little seedling is a living thing that will grow thanks to me.
ow I´m on a vegetable garden proyect. Some plants are doing wonderfully, others have been eaten by little beasts. They are not slugs or snails so I´ll have to check on birds. If I find them messing up my sweetpeppers I´ll sing a song of sixpence

I agree. There's something calming and relaxing when you grow things, no matter if those things are food or just for ornament. Human beings are a part of nature, whether we like it or not, and we feel better when we allow ourselves to be a part of it. It's just natural.
