Need help- Can't view pictures from memory card.

We can't view the pictures in memory card from my sister's digital camera. The folder is almost full when we scan it, no virus detected although I suspect there is but when we click the memory card there is no folder of pictures. We already did the show hidden folders but nothing happens. What do you think is the best thing that we can do? Thanks in advance.

I have a few question to ask
1. Can you see picture from your camera? if you can see all the picture through your camera, you can download those photos through a USB connection if your camera allow you to do that.
2. How do you scan the memory card? Did you put it into your card reader that connected to your computer? If you can't read the files on the memory card, that might probably due to malfunction of you card reader.
3. Have you ever format the memory card? If it is a new card, and if it need to be format before you can use, you will probably can't read the card.
I hope that these solution will be able help you to solve your problem. I know the pain of lost photos because I too have experience lost all my memorable photos in my hard disk when my hard disk spoiled.

For your first question, yes we can view the picture from camera provided that the memory card is inserted, but if you get rid the memory card the pictures are gone. I also tried connecting the camera to computer through USB but there is no folder or pictures inside the memory card. I only see one folder which is named PSP but when I look at it, there is no picture. Just an application or something which I don't scrutinize anymore.
My niece tried putting the memory card to card reader but she saw no folder at all in My Computer. When I saw the memory card, it doesn't fit the card reader that's explain why she can't view the memory card. My card reader is in good condition.
The memory card, If I remember is a new one bought by my sister in law who owns the camera too. The camera is not mine, I just help her to upload the picture in computer. I don't know if the memory card is formatted. My sister in law sure did not cause she don't know how.
