Do you think the amazon kindle will go on sale for Christmas? I have heard alot of good things about it,but I think it is a bit expensive at 139.0I might buy it it if it goes down to 99 dollars. I think it would be a lot of fun, and comes with free features.

I would love to get a kindle but that is so hard for me to do when regular old books are FREE at the local library. Plus my two favorite places to read in the world is on the beach and in the bath tub. Neither place seems like a place I want to take the kindle!

I just think it seems like a neat device. I will be watching the prices and see if I can squeak one out. I need to treat myself. I am always getting amazon certificates anyway.

I know I would kind of like one too. Even though I am a Librarian and have all the books I want at my access I still think a kindle would be kind of fun. But still I do like the way books feel, smell, etc. There is just something about a book. But if I could get a kindle dirt cheap I would like to. :D

I think they'll have it on sale. I'll have to wait a long while before I get one. I think $99 for a Kindle would be an excellent time to get it, but I'd have to wait until it came to like $50. And that ain't happening anytime soon. It's $139 now, but it used to be more, so maybe you'll be able to get it around Christmas time. I think it would be really cool to have.

When I got my Kindle, it cost me around $400!!!! So the new Kindles seem so cheap from my perspective! I don't know for sure, but there's a good chance the prices will go down even further! There's a lot of competition in eReaders! Which means the more competition there is, the cheaper the prices will be! I've been more than happy with my Kindle! It's a great device and I would definitely recommend it!

I definitely think the price will go down, but it is hard to say when. I am not sure it will happen for Christmas, but I could be wrong. But it will eventually, don't worry! There is so much competition in this market now!

I just bought an ipod Touch, for reading and making notes, so I won't be buying a Kindle no matter how cheap it gets. There are a lot of things I don't like about the Kindle, including that it won't read books in ePub format. The Touch fits in my purse and hardly weighs anything. I can also use any ereader app I want -- I'm using Stanza, which has loads of nice features. It has a Notes app, but I also found a nice little word processor for it -- free.

It's likely the price will keep coming down. It's way too expensive as is, and it's getting lots of competition from other much cheaper ereaders. Personally, I wouldn't get one if it was free and came with a lifetime supply of books that I wanted to read. I hate ebooks. Traditional paper books for me, please.
