I'm starving, craving and it affects my mood! Does it affct u?

Now, I'm about do leave our house cause i've been craving for this food for more than a week and it's my chance now to ingest that food. I have no choice but to wait for this very moment cause i only have enough. My mood affects me for a week cause I've been wanting to eat marinated pork with dried beef partnered with garlic rice. YUM! .
I suffered mood swings lately because of this.
Do you suffer mood swings too if you don't eat what you've been craving? Do you have access to eat all you want? I mean the one you've been wanting to eat? IN my case often not even our place surrounded by restaurants cause most of the time i don't have enough bread for that. If my money is not enough sometimes i just try to eat something cheaper but i don't get satisfied so i prefer to hold my cravings until i can a ford it.
How about you guys? What's your story? How do you usually handle your cravings?

Yes it really affects me a lot. If I am starving, I will have no strength to do the work I am doing. If I crave for something and I am not able to eat it then it really affects my mood. It would seem that I am really not in the mood to do anything at all. But this kind of craving is only happening to me sometimes. I just handle my cravings by eating chocolates or ice cream because I also love it. By then I will be able to find myself getting back on the mood.

Hi. Well, i assume that this "sometimes" often happened before monthly period. It usually happened to me. But, sometimes i also crave for something when i'm deprive by a certain food.
When your stomach is empty you can't really focus on what you are doing and when your full you can't concentrate either.

Hi dear,
I like all types of food and not particular to get which are not available. I eat veg and non veg regularly and I can have whatever I like. But i don’t have a crave for anything. I prefer simple and light food which in fact good for health. I had a habit of taking large quantity of food and later on having problems. So, I found it is good to have normal food and light food at times. Also, include all type of food for variety and fruits and raw vegs.
You can go to nearby city or town to have food. Also, make a preferred list and whenever you have enough money with you, you can plan it. All are different in nature for food and the liking for food also is not the same. Or you can got the remote market wherever it is available, bring the raw pork and beef and prepare it at home and use as you wish. Get help from your mom or anybody who know better cooking also.

Hmmm... you're a health conscious. So do you often eat steamed veggies? WE don't have fruits in our table regularly but i love fruits so much. Actually, i requested my mom to make me but the taste is so different and i was not also satisfied of the outcome. It so different if you eat the same food you've been craving. Anyway, until now i'm still craving for eat cause it's not available when i ordered it.

haha =D IF craving allows u to cherish your favourite food more, then dun hold it back.. haha =D However, if that food is not really unhealthy, then hold it back as long as possible til u forgot about the food.. hehe
That's what i have done in the past 3-4 years. I've stayed away from most unhealthy food such as ice cream, biscuits and chips. Though tempted and have the craving for it in the initial stages, i will have mood swings as well.. haha =D But over the time, i start to forget about those cravings and taste of those snacks, yet i dun miss them at all.. hehe

It happens to me too but I cannot put it off for a week! If I can’t get what I want when I want it I tend to forget about it after a while although usually I will go to great lengths to obtain what I’m craving for. Last night I wanted chocolate and I managed to go out and get some at eleven o’clock in the evening! If I cannot satisfy a craving I can get a little moody until I either get what I want or I compensate!

My husband drove me to the 24/7 store so I felt relatively safe! It does seem that it is more of a female thing it's true..

At that late? Did you drive? Where did you bought the chocolate, at the convenient store? My patience is short so it really affects me. Here in my place is not safe to go out late cause often you can see guys drinking at the streets. I think girls often affected unlike guys who can manage it. Thanks, Paula. YOu're always present.

I believe that our hunger issues do affect our moods. if we are starving, our moods can be darker than we intend them to be. Cravings can give more anxiety to our moods. I know my hunger definitely affects my mood towards people and things. Not thinking of food puts life into more perspective.1 person likes this

there are times in a year that i get the craving for a particular food, however i don't let it affect me. On the other hand, my vision is somehow affected coz everytime i see something, i thought that it was the food i was hoping to eat, lol. maybe my mind was playing tricks on my visions. i do get by by replacing the food i crave but not available with something that is next on my list of craved food. that way i won't deprive myself much.

LOL no I do not get moody if I crave some type of food and cannot have it. Maybe when I was pregnant but who knows its been so long I dont really remember for sure. I've never had marinated pork with dried beef partnered with garlic rice. I dont eat meat so only the garlic rice sounds good to me. I hope that you wound up being able to eat what you were craving. I've been craving a veggie patty at subway.

I've been a vegetarian since I was 7 so it has been 20 years since I have eaten meat. I love vegetables as well so I eat tons of them. They are very good for you. My family were not vegetarians just me. My mother was pretty good about allowing me to be a vegetarian. She would always cook me something that I wanted to eat or something that I could eat while they ate their meat meals.

Hi! Pregnant people suffer extreme mood swings, craving or not.
You can't really predict what they really want.
Are you a vegetarian? Since when? I tried being vegetarian during holly week and i did it for a month and the result was really great. My body was cleanse but after a month of eating veggies when my mom cooked meat my gastro had trouble in accepting it.( I like veggies so much but my family are not fond of eating veggies so i have to eat what my mom serve).

Yes it affects me so much especially my moods. One night called it last night i went home from work and before to reach home i need to travel for almost an hour. My youngest daughter had an event that night and she is one of the candidate to Ms. teen, and there are lots of messages from them because i didn't got home yet. The problem was the traffic for almost another one hour so all in all i spent 2hours for travelling and that is enough for me to get irritated and also hungry. No snacks and foods along the travel and before i left work so really hungry.And that was the beginning of my unpleasant mood. From the bus, i feel not good until i reached home. Plus, I saw my 2 daughters not yet ready for the pageant and they 're very late! Really got angry to her, and i think my daughter got disappointed that night and begun to lose her mood and confident to herself just because i got angry to her before the contest. And that was because of the traffic and hunger I had felt before to reached home. If I feel hungry I also feel mad.

Yes, at times I am facing the same craving too ..
I love to eat certain dish but it is quite costly.
I will be thinking about it and hoping God will bless
me or one of my family members so that they can give me

I usually handle my cravings by forming a plan. If the stimulus isn't accessible to me, i substitute another that causes almost the same. If it's accessible though, then i get it the fastest way possible.

Wow! You really in control. Substitute? But, it can't really satisfy our tummy and after eating we just crave for more. And i hate that. You'll just end up spending more just to satisfy your gastro.

I don't have mood swing even when I am hungry. I do have problem when there is a craving, but I can't get them. I only have mood swing after I can't get what I want.

Really? That's good. What do you usually do if you dont it right away? Cause in my case either I'm starving or craving my mood change and it entirely ruin my day. Often my friends avoids me or treat me some palatable foods to bring back my wackiness.

hahaha what was the worst scenario happened? Did you yell at them? Do you lock our self inside your room cause i do. LOL If you work as a Call Center Agent you probably in trouble in dealing with your mood cause you can't get easily on your chair.

When I craved for something that I could not afford to at the time, I bought my second best crave and normally somethings much more cheaper that I can just buy it from a vendor stall.
I feel meek when I am hungry, I feel frustrated when I crave something and not getting it.

I was not contented on what i ate yesterday cause the other viand was not available and last day when i left the house i was so exited cause i was expecting that i'm going satisfy my stomach, i consume two cups of garlic rice though.
