Writing is really fun if we know how to write properly. I myself love to write just that I do not have time to do so. So, if I have a time for me to write I just write anything that cross my mind. In order to have a good essay etc, we need to do the proof reading process. Do you do your proof reading in myLot? Heehehe I myself simply write and write. After that I hit the start discussion post without reread it again. It is bad right hehehe

I proofread my posts as much as I can. I see many posters who don't proofread at all, so MyLot must not care too much. I just try to make my replies meaningful and trustworthy. I also make sure they are easy to read though. Any noticeable spelling errors I try to catch!

I try to proof read my own stuff, but my grammar skills are not the best. Almost always use spell check on everything I type.
My biggest issue is I go to post something, then I think it would make a nice blog post, so I get a rough draft on blog, then I never get around to proof reading that and posting it.

I proofread myself almost every time. This is because almost everything that I write has got something wrong with it in one way or another. You can say that I have no choice but to proofread myself. It's not a bad thing to do anyway. It taught me patience. among other things :)

I am sort of a perfectionist and it kills me that when I see that I have an error I feel really bad. Luckily my Firefox does a great job at correcting and pointing out that things are spelled correctly.
It does amaze me from time to time to see when other posts that they have so many typos though.

It's always better to reread a text, after you wrote it. At least, for checking typos and so on. I usually try to reread before posting in a forum, but sometimes I'm in a hurry and errors can pass through my proofreading. Whenever I write something more "serious", like articles, stories and so on, I always reread it many many times.
