Throughout our lives, we all encounter certain individuals who presume to know what is best for us. The insights they offer cannot compare however, with the powers of awareness that already exist within us. From birth we are blessed with wisdom that cannot be learned or unlearned. It exists whether or not we acknowledge it because it is a gift that comes with us when we are born. It is often said that what we know to be true in our hearts is invariably true. Have you found this to be true for in your life?

There are people who just listen to others maybe just to compare what they know best. Though others advises may influenced us to follow when in fact what we know is much better. Others who experienced failures no longer trust themselves that they rely on others opinion. As much as possible I don't consult others when it comes to personal situations, wherein I know the real answer as the same if following their advises would just cause me pain or against my will. When we rely to others as if they're controlling our lives already.

Everyone seems to draw their own conclusions of what is best for us. When we are children, parents and authority figures probably do know what is best for us. When we get older, we are the ones who should decide for ourselves what is best for us.1 person likes this

Hi sender, As Children, our parents are responsible for our well being but when we reach adulthood, we should be making our own decisions. There is a wisdom within all of us if we but listen. Unfortunately there are those who want to control others and always feel that they know best. Blessings.

I am thankful that I am blessed with wisdom which in some ways I have already shared with others.
What I know have been imparted already to and others I am proud of that.
Have a wonderful day.

Hi pose: I had this feeling that, there's a trust in me and if I follow I do things well. I think that is good to hear the advices of some people but we have the final decitions concerning our lives. I don't like when people think they know it all and that they have the answers for you and they know what you should do.

Hi Pose123!.
Your discussion made me remember what my previous teacher said.
He said when we in our mother womb God already shoe blueprint of our life so when we born we not remember that but we had that memory in our brain.
So many of our decision affected by that memory and sometimes we call it instinct.

These people are very annoying, especially to me, since I do know what is best for everyone!

In my life very few asked me what I wanted and pretty soon I got so out of practise even thinking of that. My life has been spend doing what I felt others wanted me to do. Sometimes this came out very badly. At this point I have very few wants and thank goodness few needs.

Hi savytpat, You are fortunate at the moment and it should stay that way now. However, so many people think that they always know what's best for us. This has always annoyed me as I feel that I should make my own decisions. Thank you for sharing. Blessings.

Hi Pose, if you come to my country, you will be shocked!
Everyone is nosy. Everyone offers unsolicited advices. And everyone seems to believe his or her theory is always right. And everyone knows what is best for someone. That is why therapy never prospered here, everyone has ready solutions to someone's predicaments.
Anyway, what I know though is every human being was born with a unique gift distinct from any other. That is why there are greater or lesser people than we are. However, these gifts can also be taken away from us. Job exclaimed God had given, and God had taken away. I know of some people whose innate blessings had been taken away from them.
There is a verse that goes take all my will, my mind, my memory, and what remains is just God and the people He blessed us with. What is true in our hearts is simply to love God and these nosy neighbors.
