I scheduled my annual test next month. It is my first time to have an annual physical test because I am afraid of doctors and hospitals but since we are paying for our insurance I decided to avail this service, so that the health insurance will not be wasted. I don't know what will the doctor do to me. Is he going to inject a needle on me? I am worried. How can I ever get over this doctor phobia. Any tips about annual physical exams?

Tell yourself sweetie it is best to be safe than sorry as sometimes we neglect being cautious and not taking the precautions. So try and be brave as really unless you have missed out on annual check-ups that is really what it is about. The doctor will ask simple questions and if found healthy outside of perhaps blood tests nothing else to worry about.
Good luck to you though as I am sure you are quite nervous, but relax a bit and all will be fine.

Annual physical examination doesn't entail using needle on you.
He will just get your vital signs like BP, pulse rate, X-ray and the like.
Sometimes, there is a need to check your private parts but don't worry about this because doctors are not malicious and they have seen it many times.

Nice that you are going to APE, actually this is just like a routine exam in which doctor ll measure your height, and weight, ll take your blood pressure, listen to your heart beat and lungs with stethoscope. He ll also examine your abdomen and other organs. I think it is not like the way you are thinking.
It is recommended if you have some previous prescription then bring along with it, if you have done any test or any other thing related to your health and you consider it that it is necessary to show to your doctor.
Then if necessary your doctor will write some test for you, but if depends, some time, they ll just check these things only...
Have a nice and goood APE...

if that will be all, I will be fine with it. As long as there is no needle or blood involve I am not scared.
