Ok for the last 2 weeks I have been going through H*ll there is no other way to explain it most of you know what is happening here with me trying to move and the Problems I have had with the Landlord, that I have no hot water no Heating as such and dampness
Well, anyway I found somewhere but of course things could not go straight forward, again I was driving my Friends crazy (sorry) because I got in such mess over things
The Landlord has been in Court and somehow managed to stop the Foreclosure of the Flat
I had been to see the Housing Officer as I needed to be rehoused
Anyway to come to the point yesterday the Problem got solved well 99% anyway
I got a call from the Housing Officer and well when she told me what she did, I asked why could she not tell me this the Day before it would have saved me a lot of grief tears and nerves, and not thinking about going out to kick the Landlords front and backend
Her Answer was "Gaby, when I spoke to you yesterday, you where so upset, you where trying to breathe, that you where actually talking in riddles" Ok I have to admit yes I do that so far there are only 2 People that somehow can figure out what I am saying when I am in a state like that and one Friend did confirm to me that I do this but she is always able to get what I am trying to say, in fact she can solve the Riddle I am talking
, well I guess then I can't really blame the Woman for not telling me the Day before, also now I know why Daughter always shouts at me when I get like that to calm down and then tell her what has happened as she can not get what I am saying, my Son tells me to speak English (which I am actually) as he can not make sense of what I am saying, I used to just go in my room and yes I will say sulk lol

This looks like good news for you, gabs. I'm glad you finally solved the problem that upset you so much.
I don't talk in riddles when I'm upset or nervous, but I do mess up the words so that it's hard to understand what I'm saying. I kind of speak like I have my mouth full of plums, my friends always told me to calm down and try to pronounce the words one by one, but it's hard to do that when I'm nervous.

No, I'm pretty sure I can't talk in riddles...
My favorite villain in the old Batman TV show was Frank Gorshin's Riddler, but since I could never think, much less figure out a riddle, when I wrote my Batman story, I didn't use him, I went with Catwoman.

No, I don't do that gabs but sometimes I talk way too fast and garble my words up, haha.
What did the Housing Officer tell you that was so good? You're still confusing me but then again, I'm blonde too, lol! I must be missing some of the discussions or not reading them right. I know you are having problems and you're looking for a new place, did you find one yet?

Well Sweetie lets put it this way I am moving next Friday because I did not know that the Housing can put me on the Deposit Scheme and pay the rent in advance as long as I pay the Bond Money so that was my Problem solved and the Landlord lost his attempt in trying to stop me getting out of here

Hi gabs~ I've been told that I talk too much and don't make
sense plently of times! And now, lately I have been accused
of "talking to myself outloud", meaning I am definitely on
my way to the "loony bin" for sure. My mother brought this
up to me when I was with her. She asked me if I "always talked
to myself" and if I always "mumble". I told her, I guess so
since I had sort of been told this before and now I am sort
of getting more concious of it. I don't know if it's just
that I talk to myself (apparently out loud) which I thought
I only did when I was alone, or I'm used to talking to Star
and Luna, so not really talking to myself. Trouble is I'm
now doing it in public. My gf said I was doing it in the grocery
store and then I realized I must really look like some lunatic
walking up and down the isles having a full conversation with
myself! And you thought you were the only loon!

Sort of for I me I speak in circles as I get so upset and I can't stop repeating my self. It sounds like you have gone through a great deal with this. I hope all is can be resolved soon as it truly is nerve wrecking to be in this type of situation.
I wish you well and hope you never experience this again, as next time you may be so understanding with it all at once.

I don't think it's so much that you talk in riddle so to speak that you are so upset and crying so much that some people just can not understand what you are saying. Some people just can not understand people when they are in such a state either.
Some of us just can understand others when they are so upset. It's just what we do.
I don't usually talk when I get upset. I shut down. I know this is not a good thing, but I find one or two persons to talk to such as my best friends and talk to them about what is going on.
I go off to myself. I cry when I'm by myself. If I start crying and I'm with others I excuse myself and leave. I'm not a very open person.
I use to talk to no one years ago and then I would just finally explode and that was not good at all.

I used to just go of and Hide and just cry not talk to anyone, but I used to wait till it was ok for me to disappear I don't know how I used to hold it back then till I was alone but I always thought of the Children, I did not ever want them to see me that way I guess

i read all the previous comments and found myself nodding in agreement. I gabble when i am nervous, i exaggerate and hate myself doing it, but my mouth literally'runs away with itself'. i think the houseing officer sounds a lovely understanding person, which makes a change from the usual council officer. hugs to you and Gissi, from me and Dex, hope you get settle soon.

Margery I was shocked myself, but when she said that the Council can pay the first Month rent as long as I have the Deposit I nearly fell through the floor after the pathetic Landlord trying to ruin my Move for me

hi gabs oh you are not the only one, when I get upset my son keeps sayin calm down you are talking in circles. oh and don't swear. I do have a
tendency when upset to say a few damns and darns. it amuses me that my son who often uses the F word, gets on my case over a few dams or shi@s but he has pretty much stopped doing that.My son was upset with me because I kept my appointment with the dermatologist's assistant as he felt I would not get anyhelp.but she said she felt my leg was infected so she put me on a very strong antibiotic for ten days plus antibiotic ointment too. I just did not want to rack up another one hundred fifty dollar copay on another ambulance trip. If the doctor can make me well with this treatment i will be really satisfied.
enough of me,I do hope you can get into a warn cozy apartment not too'
far from where you live.Also please do take it easy let other people do more for you and do not exhaust yourself Gabs. as thats hard on your lungs. hugs from hatley to you and our Gissi too.

Well Sweetie, I am moving next Friday all is sorted as long as nothing else happens now which I hope not, I think I have had my fair share in the last 3 weeks over this specially with this Landlord here
And the Flat is only in the next Block to, 6 People are helping as they all offered to help straight away

i think we all do when we are upset, but more often i cant hardly talk because im fighting to breath through the panic attack. 
and sometimes i forget names or what to say, as my son tells me this is because my brain is not getting enough oxygen. probably best to do like i do and just wait till you can talk.

I am so glad things are going right and hopefully you will be in your new home soon, U do know you talk in riddles to but I normally know what you are going on about, lol! I don't talk in riddles when I am in a state, I just shout and rant like a crazy women, lol! take care sweet, love you and Gissi too.

No, I yell and scream ! I really do........
My hubby tells me to calm down as my heart might not like me being so emotional :( but, I just have a good rant and tell my cats and dogs lol, then in a bit it all seems funny or unreasonable for the way I acted...........
Try to find a place to rant.........anywhere but not in your kid's face ! I can tell by your typing you talk in riddles !!
Slow down!!! Give yourself a break.......and the rest of the world lol

Oh dearest gabs.... You need a big ole hug and I'll be one of the first ones in line to give it to you! You are right, you've been put through pure hell but you're going to come out on top smelling like a rose. You watch and see! Bless your heart! And yes, when I get really upset, I talk in riddles too. My mind gets so scrambled that I say what comes to my mind, what ever it may be. Although it might not make any sense to others, it does to me and then I get even more frustrated when they don't understand me. So you see, you're not alone. You're not a freak. It's just our emotions getting the better of us is all. In other words, we're all human.

Hiya gabs,
Who would not talk in riddles indeed when they get really upset. I have got like that from time to time but I have been really provoked then but I usually managed to calm down and be my normal self again.
After all you have been through I would have been speaking in seven Languages at the same time.
They can make you laugh by telling you to talk in English to them. My Sons say to me sometimes don´t talk in that Language as I don´t understand it but they do. They do it just to try and aggravate me really.
My Wolverhampton accent comes out loud and clear when I am like that too (grin).
So don´t worry you talk in riddles all you like as the Person who bottles it all up during years and years comes off worst in the end.

I will miss Mike and Mel again lol but will be back to visit them soon well in a few Months lol

That warms my Heart to know you are well. I really do try hard to keep up with everyone but some Days I cannot even get a whiff of the Computer except for this little half an hour I have so here I am using it to try and get back to all.

No, when I'm upset I just don't talk...I don't talk in riddles. I do start stories at the end, or the middle, or the beginning and most of my friends can fill in the blanks. Gabs, you're talking in riddles now... What did the Housing Officer tell you that she didn't tell you the day before?

That as long as I have the deposit which I have they pay the first Month Rent which was the money I was trying to get together so I was going to use all my Benefit next week to make the money up I was missing which would not have left me anything but I would not have cared, well that is when she told me they can pay the first Month in advance for me

I don't know if I talk in riddles when I'm upset or not. No one has told me that I do but that doesn't mean anything. I hope you are doing better. Some situations like this can be very upsetting when you don't know how to get things straightened out.
