I got up,
I had to phone a place up and got bad news so I sat here, not wanting to know, wanting to give up, wanting to go bash the stupid landlord, cried all afternoon, not seeing a way out, not going on my Laptop, wanting to kick the landlord, wanting to kick the Person who I spoke to on the phone, in the evening my Friend came round, asked if I had eaten, I said no, so she made me something, I told her I do not want it (god I can be stubborn when it comes to it) I ate in the end, as she was SPOONFEEDING me, which was making her laugh, because I nearly threw the food at her (not in a nasty way) then we went to the Dogs for a little evening walk and wow the fresh air got me, my brain came into action, a light came on and I was full of fight again no way will I give up and let some A**holes get the better of me, certainly not the Landlord
So, my question to you, does a light ever turn on in your Brain, or is it just me being blonde ??? I have had copper streaks put in my Hair which I thought might help the blond moments but it certainly has not

Aren't our dogs our best friends? See how a little walk with them makes us want all the best from us?
I don't really know the full story with your landlord, but I think nothing should make you feel this way. You must go further, with your head up, nobody is good enough to take away your joy like this.

Very well said inu. Short, simple and to the point. She needed that bit of advice. Her landlord has been an absolute jerk with her so has his wife. But then that is a long story that hopefully will come to an end here real soon.
Welcome to mylot.

Oh my poor Gabs! I so wish all this was over already! I wish
you were in your new place so you and Gissi could have some
peace of mind. I don't know exactly what's going on and what
the latest holdup is, I just wish it was over already! I
have alot of stuff I have deal with in my apartment and have
to deal with my Landlord and not looking forward to it since
they are azzwholes here too (not quite as bad as yours) just
annoying. I have dark hair so can't identify with the blonde
stuff...

Oh, Gabs, we don't need you not eating and taking care of yourself.
I do know what you mean by letting the moron's run you down.
But if you don't eat, then your brain REALLY doesn't work. So, not eating is actually counter productive to having it work.
Not eating=low blood sugar=poorly working brain

Not so sure being blonde has anything to do with it! I think that sometimes when things get too much we need to fall in a heap and check out for a while and when all the grief and anger are out of our system we seem to get a second wind which prompts us into action again. You’ve had a lot to deal with so you were entitled to your little breakdown!

Okay, so I guess our question here is have we had moments like this? hummmmm lol
I have had some... actually more than a few. I get so upset at times at some people that they do rattle my nerves. I can't see things clearly for a bit. I can not think of any times to tell you about just now.
It all worked out in the end, because you thought of a solution and it was accepted. That was great.

Well Gabs, I am not blonde, but I certainly have my "blonde moments"!
You have a good friend there, coming round to check on you and asking if you'd eaten and then making something for you. She even made you laugh when she spoon-fed you! That was the start of you coming out of your depressed state - taking the dogs out for a walk was the icing on the cake; the fresh air, the company, and seeing the dogs enjoying themselves switched that light on in your brain! It was what you needed, and I know you will get through your current housing problem. Don't give that awful landlord's attitude win - you are stronger than that.
Perhaps the copper streaks did help after all?
xx

Hi gabs, Don't let that landlord get you down, and you need to eat. You will be rid of him soon I hope. Yes, I've had that light turn on suddenly in my brain after I've been having a bad day. Seeing the light is suppose to be a good thing isn't it? Blessings.

hi gabs if I had had to go through what you have specially with that nasty landlord I would be feeling really down too. I know when pushcome to shove you are a strong determined lady who is not going to let'the
stinker landlord get to you. i had a light go on in nmy brain at dinner time . my leg was making me feel nauseated but =Christine the nurse told me to take the antibiotic now and if I felt ill like that in the morning she would send me to the Er. I did see the dermatologists assistant yesterday afternoon, she feels my leg is infected so she put me on antibiotics strong one plus antibiotic ointment. I will have a ten day treatment with this super antibiotic, then she wants to see me in two weeks,I would like to just let her heal me as its costly to take an ambulance to the Er. and if the PA can make me well that's okay with me.
The few times I was in the ER it took hours befor they saw me
and helped me so if the dermatologist's assistant can heal my leg
' I will be a happy camper. My son was upset that I was seeing the PA rather than the doctor but I feel a PA is almost as well trained as a doctor.OhBabs do take care of yourself and eat and rest, get help if you nneed

Hi Sweet,
I am so glad that you have your friend there for you when you are in that state, bless her for being there ande you know I always worry about you, when you are like that, you can't see straight but once you calm down you normally can think and your brain starts to work, you can still kick the landlord's a** when you are free from his place, lol! love you.

I colored the gray out of my hair...and I'm a blonde, now. And come to think of it, I'm having a lot more blonde moments... STOP thinking about the da** landlord and his wife. Move on... They'll get their due, and hopefully, you'll get to witness justice...

Ok gabs, I know all about your landlord situation, but what is the phone call all about? Am I missing something?
Yes, I sure have been in this type of situation many times, but always come back to fight out another day. You certainly need to eat to keep up your strength, and yes, get some fresh air with the dogs, that will always boost your spirits.
I bet your hair looks adorable, luv it when sista's do different things to their hair!

Oh Gabs...you can change the color of your hair to anything you like, but THE ROOTS ARE STILL BLOND!!!
I can promise you that it's NOT the color of your hair that caused your stress!!!! Sometimes our brains just get overwhelmed with our problems & just don't think straight until you find a way to change your environment.or attitude. You have a WONDERFUL friend who would work so hard to help you get to that "a ha" moment!!! I have those days frequently. Sometimes I think that we are so busy focusing on the problem that we don't allow our brain the time it needs to see the solution!!! I am thrilled that you are back to your sassy self!!!!
Your landlord deserves EVERYTHING you are about to give him!!!!
