Which is better having high IQ or High EQ?

IQ score is said to be the measurement of peoples intelligence, there are a lot of IQ exams online that we can use to find out how much level can we get. Its' fun to know how much IQ score we can get in just answering few questions. However EQ can also be measured through set of questions in the internet. I have tried both of them. I found out that I have a nice score in IQ exams rather than in EQ. However my professor in college told us that now a days it important to have high EQ than IQ, because that will make qualify i most of the job today.Because in EQ exam were measure on how strong are we emotionally, how high is our self esteem and other aspect that are contributor in doing well in our job. In your opinion, which is better having high IQ level or High EQ level? Why do you think so?

I tend to think that high EQ is much more important. Although high IQ is great, but if you don't know how to get on well with others and have a good social relationship, it is too difficult for you to gain a success. If you have a good EQ, at least others are willing to help you and therefore you have more chances. I love China

hi Mayrah, I actually think both are pretty important. I think there has to be a balance. I have known people with very high IQs that seem to have nearly no common sense or street smarts.

It's a good thing to know the level of our IQ and EQ. I think we can't live up with one and live out with another. I think we have to be balance with both to be able to succeed and do good with our job.
