Discussions that get their second wind. Have you had that happen?

I often find that when I give a best response from my unresolved list, more people respond to it again. I've even had a discussion that was 2 weeks old with one response, gave the one person a best response and I've had as many as 9 more people respond. Have you had similar experiences? Have you tried starting discussions during the week and giving best responces on the weekend to give them new life? Have you started discussions on the weekend and given best responses during the weekday? What use or uses have you made of unresolved/best response at Mylot? How about other features here?

I usually don't choose best response for a couple of weeks. I have choose and then got a lot more responses though. I actually had a response to a discussion before that I started over a year ago..lol..I liked it though...new life to the discussion.

I haven't gotten ones from a year later. Probably because I have so many and wading through a year before would be quite a fete!

On occasion I have had a response to a discussion I started a year or two before then; but it is rare. These just came out of the blue with no prompting by me by marking best response or anything. I have to assume the responders found them with a search.

Maybe. I once found a discussion with no responses underneath a similar discussion I had started, it was below mine on the bottom. Asking if there were other foragers or gatherers here. So I answered, but the person didn't answer me back. Another discussion only had one reply, I answered that one and the person was still here.
