But something is bothering me. I know most of us are defending him, even those that cant stand him. But I have to stop and wonder. First of all, this was in a contract that HE signed. All he had to do was ask the boss, he most likely would have gotten permission.
Now a sticking point for me, Rachel Maddow. She brought up the issue on her show. Thats ok with me and quite understandable. Always good to address the elephant in the room. What I have a problem with is she made it all about Fox. She pointed out what Hosts on Fox made what donations to whom. That isnt so bad, except she didnt address anybody else other than Fox people. Obsess much? She also was incorrect. She stated Palin was a Fox host, she is not. She is a contributor. She does not have a show, she simply gives opinion from time to time.
Ok so there are a few issues, but I want to also point out, when she talks about Hannity, Huckabee, and Beck I have to ask, is it in their contracts not to donate to political candidates like it is the worst person in the world?
Or if it is, did they get permission? This is a bone I have with liberals, instead of addressing the issue, they are forever saying "well so and so did it" whether it be Fox Hosts, Bush, Bachman, Palin, whoever. It is juvenile and gives them no points with thinking people.
What do you think of Maddows rant?

You know, he did violate his contract. But, if as MSNBC states, the point was not to appear biased or to affect his standing as an impartial journalist, I would point out that he had no standing as an impartial journalist. They had never made him adhere to a standard of journalism that gave that appearance. The contributions were not the clue to his bias.
Olbermann is a rabid liberal who is insulting and rude and if they didn't find that enough reason to fire him, a few campaign contributions shouldn't trip their switch.
Maybe it's just an excuse.

He is a self-professed liberal, but shows the truth, and its not slanted. It just happens to be the polar opposite of what is shown on FOX, because they lie about every single thing.
And FOX endorses candidates ON AIR.
Olbermann made three private donations. His suspension will probably lift soon enough. So - why would a blatantly left leaning site impose such a punishment?
Oh, because they are not left leaning, and they do everything they can to preserve objectivity.
It's funny, whenever a favourable report comes out about a democrat, some people are so silly, they just label that channel, show, station, newspaper, as "left leaning."

I don't watch any of the whining liberals like Olbermann, Matthews, Cooper, Maddow (yuk)!
They fancy themselves "intellectuals" and know-it-alls, yet haven't an ounce of wisdom. They have no scruples, principles, or character, only a need to advance their own greed and personal power agenda. They are sychophants and certainly cannot be called journalists in any respectable sort of way.
They are just whining, complaining, blaming, screaming babies who will not tolerate anything that is not "their way" and are completely unable to actually think or reason, much less exercise common sense. No wonder they are all so comfortable with the whining, blaming, taqiyya jihadist usurper, Islamists, and politically correct "liberal/radical/Marxist/Socialists. "A rose by any other of said names" st---ks" no matter how you look at it.
I don't watch Fox anymore either.

Why are you blanking out the word stinks?
And, quit showing everyone what an Islamophobe you are. I am embarrassed for you.
Congrats on your first step towards normalcy by quitting FOX. Now, lay off the wnd and other random conservatives sites you have opted into.

"ma'am" you are being rather invasive and dictatorial re my expressing MY opinion. I choose to use a more delicate expression of some words; blanks work for me, sort of like Scrabble.
As to your use of the "politically correct" cultural Marxist term with a "phobe" at the end of it, I am more than just embarassed for you. It shows me how little you know about history, what a terrible education you must have had, and how little understanding you show about the real world.
Your fellow "liberals", intolerant of everything they disagree with, even impuned one of their own, Juan Williams, who merely expressed a valid opinion OF HIS OWN. It used to be called free speech, but George Soros, Nazi sympathizer who "owns" NPR by dint of much money he throws at them to do his bidding, and CAIR and other Islamists, also Nazi sympathizers, who wish to implement Sharia law and take over our once free nation called, for Williams' firing.
Dear me, won't you liberals be happy living under Sharia law? And how do you reconcile feminism and birkas? Read "United in Hate" by Dr. Jamie Glazov; read history, read anything with a kernal of truth to it, before you start maligning others and wimpering about their right to free expression and speech.

Thanks, DrMario. I don't like to personalize issues, but sometimes it's difficult to deal with the kind of "stuff" that we are faced with today.
God bless you for your understanding and support.

I believe they were three candidates running as democrats, not socialists.
