No we don't need to Invade what we need to do is get our troops out of the Middle East and get the two countries we are in to be able to stand on their own two feet then wait for Iran to make the move if they make an attack against the United States then we should defend ourselves we need to return to our Pre-WWII strategy but be ready for if an when we get attacked and strike like a rattle snake at the person who attacked us then return home after we kicked the you know what out of them. Preemptive war was a strategy used by Hitler. We should not follow his foot steps.

I am so happy you posted; I was hoping I would be able to hear your views. One would have thought we would have learned our lessons with the two wars we are already in, but, the leftist in me wants to think the republicans are hungry for blood.

We are not out of the Middle East yet. Our Prime Minister annonced 10 days ago, that we would stay in Afghanistan until 2020, and maybe longer. And if we staying, that means you are staying.

I guess it is true that when America sneezes, the world catches a cold.

The US government are so screwed up with their priorities and have been forever! It does not seem to matter who is in power over there, the greed for oil just continues. If the USA had not wasted trillions on all their wars over the years, then their economy might be better off. They might actually be able to bail some people out and become a humane country. The rest of the world is starting to really hate the USA and this is sad because I have spent time there and most of the people I met were lovely people who had absolutely no time for their government.

This kind of stuff is why I don't sleep easily at night. But the Palins of America have no problem justifyng this plundering by using their escape "free enterprise", without knowing that bloodshed or turmoil went into it. So much for personal accountability.

I thought America was broke? 200 million a day in Afghanistan 200 million a day in Iraq To attack Iran, it will require the same deployment that you had in 1991 to free Kuwait. 500 million a day? You really need to stop printing money. It is actually Israel which is trying to entice America to attack Iran. Because Israel would be the primary victim of an Iranian nuclear attack. This whole idea of a world order, where America dictate the rest of the world how to behave, is not going to work. You are going to weaken your position if you have too many wars on too many front. Hitler lost the war because he got greedy and attacked Russia. In order to fight two wars, one on the west front, and one on the east front, he had to split his army and got rolled over. The same will happen to you eventually. You might win Iran, but if you got nothing left, someone else might target you and use the opportunity while you are weak.

The wars must stop now. If only Americans were smart enough not to vote the republicans into majority. Luckily nothing will pass the senate floor. But, just the mere proposals and suggestions - foreign countries can see it. We can easily lose allies over stuff like this.

I think Graham should take a moment to look at the Powell doctrine that conservatives used to cherish: 1. Is a vital national security interest threatened? 2. Do we have a clear attainable objective? 3. Have the risks and costs been fully and frankly analyzed? 4. Have all other non-violent policy means been fully exhausted? 5. Is there a plausible exit strategy to avoid endless entanglement? 6. Have the consequences of our action been fully considered? 7. Is the action supported by the American people? 8. Do we have genuine broad international support? The eight questions that should be answered before entering a war.

I'd also like to include that in the event that we "eliminate the regime," we'd also be responsible for propping up a new regime. (We know how well that worked out for us in Iraq and Afghanistan!) Here's the thing: that was already tried that in the 1940s. How did that work out? (Oh, and don't forget the Prime Minister we ousted out in the 1950s. That was a fantastic idea too! Nothing bad came out of that.)

I wish someone would actually, officially, on air, pose those 8 questions to him.

Graham is an idiot. Senators like Graham are exactly the reason the republican party was taken in to the ER and given inoculation by tea. Don't worry Graham, your turn is coming soon enough. He can run his mouth all he wants but it will never happen. There is no way on her Lady's green earth Obama will ever authorize military action against Iran. But this does illustrate exactly what went wrong in the republican party.
