Has anyone read the Inheritance Almanac?

I just read that Christopher Paolini has come out with a new book, the Inheritance Alamanac, to supplement his Eragon series. Has anyone read it yet? Is it worth purchasing before Book 4 comes out? Any thoughts/knowledge are appreciated!
