What is a reliable and durable 1TB external hard drive?

I am planning to purchase an external hard drive for backing up my files. Do you know what brand is best to choose?
And considering also the budget, it should not be costly.

umm i would perfer a western digital one i had a 500 gb one and i never had any problems out of it and there a little less pricey
