i dont think i am bored or tired or something. in fact i am having a lot of ideas coming in and was making discussions about it in mylot hence i can say that my brain is working.
[b]i wonder why that is.
can anyone tell me why it keeps recurring and at a very short interval?

Anny dear
Yawning is a reflux action of our body system, when our body needs more oxygen , say due to over work, exhaustion or say lack of sleep, we start yawning, our mouth wide open , we draw maximum air in to lungs, thus more oxygen, more energy..
At times i thank the master creator, the almighty , who made our body so perfect..
Thank you so much for this nice discussion. Please avoid strainig your body.
Professor. . Cheers God bless you. Welcome always.

hi professor,
i was speculating that the brain might be desiring that i stretch muscles hence i yawn. yawns are often accompanied by the urge to stretch.
what do you think?

Yawning is actually caused by a lack of oxygen in your brain. Maybe you are working so hard that you aren't taking the time to breathe properly and that is the reason that you are yawning so much. For me, the time that I find that I yawn the most is when I am at my in-law's house and I think that the reason for it might have something to do with the pilot light on their stove. The fact that they have a gas stove in their house is really the only difference that I am able to think of between our house and theirs.

hi dora,
i want to say, dora, you hit the reason!
sometimes that is the reason too, why i have to suddenly have to inhale so deeply.
its because i have not been breathing well and good.
thank you friend,

hi pat,
your response made me search for answers from experts. see what i found.
"Yawning is associated with tiredness, stress, overwork, lack of stimulation, and boredom. Yawning can also be a powerful non-verbal message with several possible meanings, depending on the circumstances. In humans, yawning has an infectious quality (i.e., seeing a person yawning, talking to someone on the phone who is yawning, or just thinking of yawning can trigger yawning.)..." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yawn
wow! aint that educational?
have a nice day.

Hi,
It same happened to me this afternoon,my brain is working and
I have lot of ideas on what to write in Mylot, but then
I keep yawning and I just can't pay full attention to it,so I decided
to have a short nap and now I feel fresher.so I will stay late
tonight to catch up on doing MyLot to boost up my earning.
Sometimes, it is just our physical body is getting tired which make us
to yawn uncontinously and just a short nap,it is more than enough
to make our body fresher.

hi shia,
am not unique after all. i thought it was only me or that i have something inside me that is making me yawn. now i am feeling normal after you said that.
do you think we get to forget to breath enough when we are thinking a lot, that is why when our brains start saying "get some air".. then we involuntarily yawn and inhale?
am having funny thoughts.

hi dheerajlko,
why do you think it is unique?
i am thinking that everyone has this ones in a while in their system. i'd say especially in a cold air conditioned room, with soft music, and a bed on the side.
have a nice day.
