I am showing all of my myLot friends the Peter Heaters that I am making. Now, it isn;t finished:the ends need darns in, a draw-string needs to be made for the eyelets on the top. This particular one is bright yellow with a navy blue top. I ordered a new camera from Sears, but it hasn't come in yet, so the laptop camera isn't so great. sorry. I think this will be a great gag-gift for this Christmas. I hope MyLot allows me to show this picture.

My husband got one of these as a gag gift from a co-worker one year! My husband is in construction and it gets a big cold in the winter. One of the worker's mother crocheted a bunch of them for all the workers. It was funny. Half of the guys couldn't figure out what it was at first, because there was no note attached. All of us wifes/girlfriends were laughing even more when the majority of them couldn't figure out. When they did, they all got red faced!!

I found a little poem that I will include with them. Now that you are getting older, And the nights are getting colder, Nothing could be neater, Than this little Peter heater.

That is a great gag-gift to give out for Christmas. It was several years ago that my mother made some of these as a gag gift for members of her family and it really did get a lot of laughs. However, I think that the best gag gift ever was eight years ago when my husband and I decided to give his baby brother a pair of Mr. Nose underwear. He opened the gift in front of his girlfriend at the time and I don't think that I've ever seen anyone turn as red as Wes did that year.

He was embarrassed?? The best thing to do then is laugh and go along with it. It nice to put a smile on people's faces.
