Dream killer?

Hello friends. I'm always writing discussions about my daily experience, but now, tonight, i want to ask you something about the dreams. I was such a dreamer when i was little girl. Now i feel that my dreams are dreams of someone else, but not my own. After so long time, i understood that i haven't done even one thing i dreamed about in the past. So i want to ask you, is it the same with all of us when we grow up? Do you loose our dreams, where do they go? Do they go to some little girl or boy, to give him/her more passion for life. Who are the dream killers? I found by myself that this cruel life is killing my dreams day by day. All the people around are getting crazy, running after money, luxury cars, luxury travels, luxury cosmetics and so on luxury things. People around me are trying to reach high level of luxury material life. Do this people still got dreams? Or they forgot the real price of everything they have? Who killed my own dreams? Is it life at all? Is it me? What do you think? Why we can't live like children, believing in our truths are our hearts?

I think dreams are killed by ourselves. yes everything we see around us helps us kill them, but we do it ourselves. When we are little we dont understand how hard things can be, how things dont always go the way we want them to. Sometimes when you get older and have more responsibilites especially money it can become hard. You realize you cant have everything you want. Maybe what we have to start doing instead of letting our dreams die, and wanting to give us and be miserable...is simply get new dreams, strive for new things. Start counting our blessing of the things we do have instead of the things we dont have. Like the saying says no matter how bad you think things are for you there is someone who has it worse. If you have loved ones around then the rest of your dreams should become a reality with time, patience, and work. As for the people who have all the luxury...I dont think they are all happy. Most of them I think have problems in life and dream of more. Also they would trade it all for love or thier child. Kaap your head up...things will seem brighter!

As we grow a little bit each day, and are faced by the reality around us, it is but natural that we focus on the everyday things, and forget about our dreams. And by forgetting, I mean killing our own dreams. So, to answer the question of who's killing our dreams. It is us ourselves. But, I think I like your notion that dreams don't really die. That they just go to some little boy or girl to give them passion in their lives. And hoping that maybe one of these kids would see the dream through.

Oh, don't be thankful for that. It's normal, because your opinion is close to mine. It doesn't mean that i am not interested in other points of view, but yours were more close to me own. Friendship accepted.

The life in present has become so routine and so usual that we have started chasing money. Money has become everything in life and so we are killing ourselves. We dont dream and even though we dream, its not our dream but something else. Totally agree the dreams we see is all luxury things. Lets always not think about the luxury things in life. Lets believe in our truths.

Hello friend and thanks for sharing, because that opinion recover my own. Money are a dream killer for me. I got two different points of view. First is if you don't have money, you are always worried about different stuff - food, expenses, bills, needs you have. If you have money there will always have something you need, because i think that you will loose the chance to enjoy the real things, if you can buy everything.

Hello friend, if Tom and Jerry was helping, i would be the first who would like to watch them, even if they are not helping, i still love watching them You are like my boyfriend, may be. He always say that he feels like 15 years old. But i'm always worried for tomorrow. May be this is the reason i don't have dreams anymore, too much worries for things, which will happen with or without me.
