With Man Utd beating Blackburn earlier, Chelsea need a victory to return to the top spot. They started the game horribly and mistake between Alex and Cech allow Carroll to put Newcastle ahead on the fifth minute. But right on the stroke of half time, Kalou put Chelsea on level terms.
Chelsea pile on the pressure on the second half but could not find a winning goal. This result means they have allowed Man Utd to seize the advantage. This means Chelsea had dropped 5 points in the last 2 days.
This does not look championship form and Chelsea is wobbling now.

being a Man Utd fan the results are very welcoming to me! Chelsea haven't won in four league games, losing three of those. surely United have pounced on the rare opportunity offered and are rightly back on top. hoping for more of such results!
