Do you wish there was an edit button here on myLot?

I wish their was. Sometimes I make typos and it drives me nuts that I can't edit it, then I go back and make another comment about my typo because I missed a word, or even misspelled it. *smacks head*

No, I'm talking about after you post your comment. Sometimes you don't see your mistake until afterwards. Thanks for replying.

I'm the same way. I make comments on my own posts to correct my spelling.

Another perfectionist! At least I'm not the only one. Well, I try anyway! Thanks so much for commenting.

Quite often, I have not caught spelling errors until AFTER it was posted. I don't know why, but I am constantly mis-spelling the word busy. The letter T likes to sneak in on me, & instead of being a guy who is trying to do a lot of things at the same time, the typo makes me seem to be someone who - if I was constantly walking into things, I would walk into those things chest first. That is one typo that I wish I could correct.

Oh, yes, I've been saying that for the last two years. Most forum sites let you edit your posts for a certain amount of time. I mean, it can only be about five minutes or so. Sometimes, I do review what I write, then after it's posted, I noticed something really strange and want to change it. But, I can't, so it sticks out there. Sometimes it's something that can be misinterpreted pretty bad.

I wish there was too. I also wish I was not so dang hasty and impulsive and stop hitting the post button before I have read and re-read my post. Sometimes things just get too automatic and I get some kind of error-blindness. Just because I spelled it right in my head doesn't really mean my fingers obey my brain all the time.

Yeah, i too wish there was a edit button on mylot.its much problem when we mistype and recognise it after posting the response. What else can we do than rectifying in another response. Good luck if mylot starts one such facility.
