Coincidence

A couple of nights ago we were watching a Cirque De Soleil performance on the local PBS station. The show was focused on the music of Elvis Presley. My 11 old grandson asked how old Elvis was when he died. I looked it up and found that he died on August 16, 1977. That triggered a memory, one of my favorite baseball players, Babe Ruth died on August 16, 1948. I always recall that because it was on my dad's 21st birthday, and two days before I was born. Dad always said that Babe had to leave to make room for me. It is just a minor coincidence that the two legends died on the same calendar day, but coincidence always fascinates me.
