Clearly good tools are necessary for a really good job so this saying seems at first sight wrong but is indeed profound. Can you make sense of it? all the best urban

The saying holds much worldly wisdom. One should not always blame one's predicament for all those misfortunes.

That is indeed true, the saying does mean that one should take responsibility for one's situation. Yet, there is also more here, buried deep in the saying all the best urban

Generally speaking, weak people blame others for their failures. But I think the root of this is, why do we need to place blame in the first place when we only have to improve ourselves, not others.

My philosophy is, yes good tools sometimes can do a better job, where sometimes you only need simple tools, 50% of the good job is the talent of the individual that knows how to use good tools !

Its not the quality of the tools but the skill of the user that's important. Granted, there are times when the proper tools are necessary for the proper job but better tools don't make for a better workman. That is the point..in accepting or rejecting responsibility for one's actions.. Enjoy!
