What is your favorite video game platform?

With some many platforms to choose from, I want to know what your favorite is and why.
I personally like the old platforms, such as Nintendo and Super Nintendo. I play my SNES almost every day even though I have newer platforms like a PS3.
I just like the games better, less buttons, the old-school feel of it. I grew up playing it, and I like playing it. My SNES is older than I am, has pieces missing out of the casing, something rattles on the inside, and it still plays perfectly. My almost brand-new PlayStation 3 does not play PS3 games and half the time it refuses to play DVDs. What good is that to me? There is nothing wrong with it. It has been taking care of perfectly. It gets cleaned regularly and is still shiny and smooth. It has never been abused. Ugh.
So that's just another reason I like old systems better. How about you?

I like the DS. I use it at home or where ever I am. It was the first gaming console (or should I say handheld) I bought for myself so maybe that's one reason why I am hooked with it. I generally like handhelds such as the DS or gameboy more than the home consoles.
